How do I book a ride with HoosierCruiser?You can book a ride through our online booking page. Simply fill in your details, select your service type, and submit your booking request.

What are the pricing options for your services?We offer tiered pricing: $75 for 1 rider ($75 total) $65 each for 2 riders ($130 total) $55 each for 3 riders ($165 total) Roundtrip rides receive a 15% discount each way. Co-riders must be found by customers RideShare: $70 per rider

What is the Ride Share service?Our Ride Share service allows you to share a ride with other IU students traveling at similar times, providing a cost-effective and convenient option. Timings may be adjusted by a little to accommodate all riders.

Are there any baggage restrictions?There are no baggage restrictions as long as your luggage reasonably fits in the vehicle.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?You will receive a confirmation email and text once your booking is processed. This email and text will include your driver's contact information and other important details, including vehicle description, license plate, driver picture.

Are your drivers background-checked?Yes, all our drivers undergo thorough background checks to ensure your safety and reliability.

Can I choose my co-riders for the shared ride service?No, the Ride Share service pairs you with other students traveling at similar times. However, you can book 2 or 3 Riders services if you have already chosen your co-riders.

What happens if I miss my shuttle?If you miss your shuttle, HoosierCruiser offers a 15-minute grace period to accommodate unexpected delays. During this time, please communicate directly with your driver to keep them informed of your status. If you are more than 15 minutes late, a small fee will be applied to cover the additional waiting time. Our goal is to provide flexibility and ensure that you reach your destination comfortably.

How old do passengers have to be?All passengers must be 18 years old or older.

Suspension of Service During Hazardous ConditionsSafety is a fundamental priority for HoosierCruiser. If management determines that conditions are unsafe for operation, HoosierCruiser reserves the right to suspend service. Hazardous conditions, which can be natural or man-made, significantly increase the risk of accidents. Examples of such conditions include significant snow accumulation, ice, freezing rain, civil unrest, or protests. As a licensed operator, we adhere to local, state, and national government directives. When hazardous conditions arise, we will monitor the situation closely and communicate any service suspensions or changes with affected customers as promptly as possible, providing advance notice when feasible.

How do I find my ride?Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive detailed information about your ride. This includes the vehicle description and license plate number, making it easy to identify your shuttle. Additionally, you will have direct communication with your driver through the provided contact information, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free pickup experience. We also have HoosierCruiser stickers on all cars ensuring no miscommunication.
